This class will turn you into a salsa pro in 10 short weeks. We begin by covering basic steps and moves and then learn intermediate and advanced steps. At the end of the course, you'll be able to perform set routines as well as freestyle salsa.

Cost and materials:

It's $15 per session for the 10-week class and $130.00 if you pay up front. Each class is 85 minutes long with a maximum of 30 students (15 couples) to ensure quality one-on-one instruction time. You don't need to bring a partner—you'll hopefully make new friends in this class!

Materials needed include a blind fold, shoes to dance in (preferably leather soles), and access to the Internet to study clips and other course material (see syllabus below).

Prerequisites:

There are no prerequisites, other than a good attitude and general interest in ballroom dancing. Don't worry if you think you don’t have rhythm; we'll teach you everything you need to know to become a great salsa dancer. Even if you do know the basics, this is a great class to take as many salsa dancers have a lot of bad habits and need to revisit the basics just as much, if not more, than someone new to dancing.
